Interesting how Churchill’s message only seems to resonate with non-Aboriginal People. There sure are a lot of pale faces in those pictures that are posted here. Real Indians always knew he was a big fake! Why doesn’t anyone ever ask us what we think? It’s the University’s own fault for buying his phony Indian crap!

After twenty years teaching at a university on the prairie, I can only say that people like Ward Churchill and Billy Ayers, with their same set of beliefs, still exist where I once worked. I have heard the same kind of nonsense, from such tenured faculty members, over that time period; in their views, which are remarkably similar, because they derive from the same source, the Frankfurt school, and Marcuse, among others, to be specific. I heard Jerry Rubin say the same thing that Ayers did, Rubin’s comments on Arizona State campus 1968 or thereabouts, kill your parents, burn the libraries. If you speak out against this Marxist nonsense, you do so at your own risk. I could
give you names of ten people, at least, at my former univ. who believe that
Bush blew up twin towers. These are the same people teaching our kids, who unless they are inoculated against this tripe may not become revolutionaries
but do support Marxist ideas, even inadvertently. In university departments of anthropology, sociology, english, and history, the majority of professors
are Marxist, but call themselves “progressives.” They have the connivance of
their consciences—to make a supposedly better world, and like the character in Doestoevsky, would torture a child to make a better world.

This was an EXCELLENT update for those like me who’ve wondered what’s the latest on Ward Churchill. Especially appreciated hearing about the letter & cartoon posted on the AIM website; this put the truth to rumors that Churchill got his teaching position/tenure via affirmative action based on false claims. No shame at all in this anti-American narcissist. To be open about one’s beliefs when you’re a progressive leads to rejection by others, so deception and manipulation is the chosen modus operandi, not to mention ‘in your face’ blustering intimidation.

People claim Free Speech rights but that adage comes to mind: “Everyone has the right to their own opinion, but not to their own facts.” Truth will prevail.

Here’s what needs to be done: Kill the Humanities.

Kill it all, remove it from Academia. If they can’t be trusted to separate the wheat from the chaff, then cut ‘em off. No new hiring. Put all of them in a Department of Pseudointellectual Crap and make them teach College Algebra (after they learn it) 8 hours a day.

Why they can be breathing the same oxygen as people who have PhDs in mathematics and physics, I’ll never understand.
